Recipe: Mashed Avocado (6 months - 12 months)

Avocados are one of the richest known sources of healthy fats and fibres. It is a perfect choice if you are looking for food to support your baby’s brain development and boost their immunity. The recipe, which combines creamy avocado and tangy orange, is not only easy and quick, but its smooth buttery texture makes it easier for your little ones to swallow and digest. Choose ripe avocados and fresh oranges for the best flavor and texture. You can also change the consistency to a little chunkier depending on the age of your baby. Start with a small amount (1-2 teaspoons) and gradually increase the serving size as your baby becomes accustomed to eating solids.

Method:
Step 1: Wash the avocado and leave to dry
Step 2: Peel and cut into small pieces
Step 3: Put in a container and mash using a food masher or a wooden spoon. Remove any seeds in the orange. Squeeze the juice from the orange onto the avocado and mix well.
Step 4: Put in a feeding cup or plate
