Yummy Chocolate Mug Cake - Recipe

Hi, I am Shikha Batra and I have got a recipe that will get your child's taste buds tingle and they will not be able to resist it. It is the recipe of a Chocolate mug cake which is not only luscious, tempting, soft and spongy but yummilicious too. This cake is eggless. So, children who do not eat eggs or are allergic to eggs can enjoy having it too. I would also like to add here that this cake is made in a mug, cooked in a microwave and does not need any elaborate preparation too. The best part is, it's a quick recipe which will be ready in just three minutes. Yes, you heard it right in just three minutes. So, with no further delay let's begin with the recipe.
To make the chocolate mug cake you will need:
- A regular mug
- 1 Measuring spoon
- 1 teaspoon

4 tablespoons of refined flour or maida,
-
3 tablespoon of powdered sugar (Note-You can add or reduce the amount of sugar as per your child's taste),
-
1 tablespoon of chocolate powder or 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup
-
2 pinches of baking powder,
-
1 pinch of baking soda
-
Grated chocolate or choco chips
-
Colourful sprinkles (optional)
Wet Ingredients
-
2 tablespoon of milk
-
1 tablespoon of oil

1&1/2 tablespoon of cream or malai

2 drops of vinegar or lemon juice
Preparation Steps
STEP 1- Add all the dry ingredients and mix them well.
STEP 2- Add choco chips or grated chocolate in the batter as per your child's taste.
STEP 3-Then add all the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix them thoroughly (Note-just add one tablespoon of milk initially).
STEP 4- Once all ingredients are mixed well and there are no lumps, add another tablespoon of milk and stir it well.
STEP 5- Put your chocolate mug cake batter in the microwave for 1 minute. Use a clean fork to test whether it is done or needs more cooking. (Note: Time for which mug cake is kept in the microwave might vary depending on its power. It might take an additional 30 -60 seconds of cooking if it's of low power.)
STEP 6- To decorate it, you could use powdered sugar, choco chips or colourful sprinkles.
