When it comes to my daughter's safety, I place hygiene at the top priority. In a bid to find the best diapers for my baby, I’ve by now gathered a strong know-how of the entire diaper manufacturing industry. No, I’m not exaggerating a bit! The fact of the matter is, I’ve tried and tested all sorts of diaper brands and more often than not I have been left unimpressed. To my never-give-up nature, for the first time, I feel like saying something good about a diaper manufacturer, this one I found very recently.

I’m talking about the Pampers Premium Care Diaper Pants.  I have captured here a detailed review of these diapers.

Overall Rating – 5/5

  • Softness – 5/5
  • Breathability – 5/5
  • Absorption Capability – 5/5
  • Useful Innovation (Wetness Indicator, Disposal Tape & Aloe Vera) – 5/5
  • Price – 4/5

Feature-wise Review

I was of a different impression about Pampers before trying their newly launched Premium care pants, but of late, my perception has changed. Now let’s dive deep into each of the features of this diaper and scrutinise it for its quality and utility.

Softness

When you touch the new Pampers premium care Diaper, it feels like cotton soft. My experience with diapers from various other brands wasn’t that satisfactory, especially in the softness department. Pampers – You have definitely got this part right by getting this ultra-soft material for babies. I have now been using the diaper for my baby and for the first time, I observe how comfortable it is for my baby’s skin. Just what I always wanted for my baby.

Secondly, I didn’t expect but I actually loved the waist belt area too which sticks to the body and was quite stretchy and soft – it sort of adjusts to my baby’s waist size. Also, the leg cuff comes with a special design that helps minimize rubbing between baby’s skin and the diaper. This again was something I missed in the diaper pants I used prior to Pampers.

Overall, I give these diaper pants 5 out of 5 on Softness.

Breathability

Pampers has done some interesting innovation here- this new product comes with ‘air channels technology’. What does that mean? That means the diaper allows air to pass through, in turn, ensures that the baby’s skin remains dry. As a result, no skin irritation, no rashes and no infections.

On Breathability, I give these diaper pants 5 out of 5.

Absorption Capability

If you look inside the pants, you can see a unique 3 channel-design with micropores that can potentially lock away the wetness for up to 12 hours. I’ve observed that the innermost layer of this diaper evenly distributes this wetness – hence the diaper doesn’t hang down. This is unlike the diapers I was using earlier, which use to sag with the increasing load.

I give 5 out of 5 for Absorption Capability.

Wetness Indicator

Take a bow, Pampers! This feature literally blew my mind away! No other diaper offers this feature and this is a boon in disguise for a mom like me. The most innovative feature I’ve ever seen a diaper making company offer. I’ve explained it well in the video above, but let me share how it works - there is a yellow line on the diaper which turns blue when the diaper needs to be changed. So, basically, it works as an alarm bell and informs you when to change the diaper.

Disposal Tape

This is another feature that comes pretty handy when you take the diaper off and want to dispose of it, especially when outdoors or travelling with the baby. Pampers has made it super easy with the disposal tape that comes as a part of the diaper. With this tape, you can neatly wrap the used pants and dump them.

Aloe Vera Lotion

You’d love this thing, moms! When you open a new pack of Pampers Premium care pants, there’s a mild fragrance, just like that of a baby’s smell! There’s a layer of Aloe Vera lotion, which soothes the baby’s soft skin and prevents irritation. Good initiative by Pampers and not available with other diaper brands as far as I know.

I give these diapers 5 out of 5 on these three useful innovations. Very well done!

Price

I’ll be honest here. I think it’s not the cheapest diaper, as compared to the regular pack of diapers. But on a separate note, I would not compromise on anything and use the best for my baby, even if it comes at a cost. This definitely is the best.

I give the diapers a 4 out of 5 on price.

Not all manufacturers of baby care products walk that extra mile and think in terms of comfort not only that of a baby but that of the mommies too! Well Done Pampers!

This Pampers Premium Care product is a must try for every mom out there! Do watch the video above and leave your comments – would love to be of help. Take care!
