12-Year-Old Orphaned Girl Throws 4-Month-Old Cousin In A Well: The Reason Will Shock You

The arrival of a new baby in the family brings joy and excitement, especially for their siblings and cousins. However, it can also trigger feelings of resentment, and jealousy, as they may fear losing the love and attention they were getting from their family earlier. It is this fear that made a 12-year-old from Tamil Nadu take her baby sister’s life.
A 4-month-old baby girl of a migrant family reportedly went missing from her home. Her lifeless body was later found in the well at their modest rented quarters. What is even more shocking is that it was none other than her 12-year-old cousin, who allegedly threw her in the well.
As per reports, the 12-year-old lost her father some months due to epilepsy and her mother also left her. Her father’s younger brother and his wife, who had welcomed their daughter a couple of weeks back, decided to bring the girl along with them as they returned to Kannur.

According to reports, the couple went to bed with their baby around 9:30. Later at night, the mother woke up to find the baby missing. She informed her husband and they started looking for the infant. Eventually, the baby’s body was found in a well in the common compound where they live with other migrant families.
During questioning, the parents grew suspicious of the 12-year-old since the house was locked from inside.
The girl initially told the police that she had stepped out of the house to use the washroom and when she returned the baby was missing. Later she confessed to throwing her in the well because she feared that her uncle and aunt would stop loving her.
