At 16, most children spend their days struggling between school, homework and sometimes gaming. And we have Raul John Aju, who has taken a completely different path. At an age when most of us were worried about exams, he is already running his own AI startup. And there is a twist, he has hired his father to work with him.
Raul John Aju’s Curiosity
Raul’s story began when he was just six. While children his age were learning to ride a bicycle, he was already diving into the world of artificial intelligence. It all started with curiosity and then slowly turned into passion.
By the time he reached his teens, Raul created his own robot, Me-bot. In addition, he also created ten different AI tools that help solve everyday problems.
What makes Raul stand out is how freely he shares his knowledge. His YouTube videos and Instagram reels break down AI in ways that anyone can understand.

Among all his achievements, one decision touched people the most. Raul decided to hire his father at his startup, Arm Technologies.

Raul isn’t chasing flashy headlines. His dream is to use AI for real problems. One of his standout projects is JustEase. It was created in collaboration with the governments of Kerala and Dubai to help citizens get quick AI-powered assistance during emergencies.
At the India Today South Conclave 2025, he shared a bold idea: "India shouldn’t just follow the global AI race - it should create its own."
He explained that India has two paths. One, to focus only on manufacturing and risk stagnation. Or to invest in research and creativity, and become a world leader in innovation. Coming from a teenager, that’s a powerful call for change.
What’s Next for Raul?
Raul’s Arm Technologies is still gearing up. He wants to keep building tools that solve problems and he also aims at working with governments on socially useful projects.
And with his father by his side, it's proven that when parents support children with their curiosity, they can reach heights.
