Parenting today isn't what it was a decade ago. With social media and academics, being a parent has become tougher. To help parents overcome parenting challenges, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is stepping in with a thoughtful initiative. They are conducting offline parenting workshops in five key cities across India to support your child’s well-being.

Workshop Locations and Dates

CBSE has selected the following five cities for its September 2025 workshops:

• Hyderabad – September 4 at Delhi Public School, Nadergul
• Ahmedabad – September 9 at Delhi Public School, Bopal Square
• Siliguri – September 9 at Birla Divya Jyoti School
• Ludhiana – September 15 at BCM School
• Indore – September 18 at Daly College

Each session runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with participants required to report by 9:30 a.m. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The goal is to empower parents and school leaders with tools to support students beyond academics. The workshops will focus on:

1. Positive Parenting Practices - encouraging empathy, healthy dialogue, and resilience-building

2. Digital Well-being - guiding families on how to create healthy screen habits

3. Mental Health Awareness - helping parents spot signs of stress, anxiety, or burnout in their children

4. School-Home Collaboration - building stronger communication between homes and schools for a child’s well-rounded growth
