What If Lord Krishna Had Instagram? The Lessons We Would Still Learn Today

Can you imagine scrolling through your Instagram feed and seeing a blue-skinned boy posting a reel of him stealing butter? What would be the captions - #NoRegrets #MakhanLover. And the comments flooding in with laugh emoticons from the children and don't forget the elders commenting to focus on their studies.
Sounds funny, right? But if Krishna had Instagram, we would have seen differently. The feed would have been full of timeless lessons, wrapped in charm and wit. And we desperately need it in these fast-paced lives where our children are surrounded by irrelevant content on social media.
What Can Children Learn From Krishna's Imaginary Instagram?
Doctor Q&As from Parents like you
Have Fun Every Day
Krishna loved playing the flute and dancing with his friends. He enjoyed every moment his life. If he posted a reel, it might be him playing tag with the gopis or running around with his cow friends.
Lesson for children? School and homework are important, but so is having fun. Play makes your mind happy and your heart light.

Be Brave and Do the Right Thing
Remember when Krishna lifted the whole Govardhan Hill to protect his village from a storm? If that happened now, it might be a viral post with the caption: "When your friends need help, you lift them up..!"
He showed us that standing up for what's right, even if it's scary is always worth it.
Be a Good Friend
Krishna never left his friends alone when they needed him. If Arjun messaged him on Instagram saying, "I'm nervous about the big match," Krishna would probably reply with a voice note saying, "You've got this! Focus and do your best."
It's a reminder for us that real friends encourage each other. Be it a game or any test, be there to encourage them.
Share, Don't Show Off
Krishna could have had the coolest pictures with his colorful clothes. He would have had the best story about his adventures but he would not post them to brag. Instead he would share them to inspire others and spread happiness.
That's the difference between showing off and sharing. One makes people feel bad and the other makes people feel good.
Be Yourself, Always
Krishna was unique and he loved it! He had dark skin but he never felt bad for it. He never tried to be someone else just to fit in.
If he had Instagram, his feed would not have been with edited pictures but it would be real. And that's why people would love it. Be yourself and love yourself.
Lord Krishna teaches us that life is not perfect. Just be true to yourself. And we don't need to wait for Janmashtami to remember him, we can follow his account in our hearts every day.
The next time you post on Instagram or any other platform, think, Would my post make someone smile? If the answer is yes - post it!
