Hello doctor! My daughter is 3 yrs old and she spends hrs and hrs on mobile phone everyday bcoz we're a nuclear family she doesn't gets anybody to talk to when I'm busy doing household chores. And her attention span is not that large to keep her sitting for half an hour in a stretch and engage her in painting or things like that. What can we do? And how it may be affecting her..? Although she is happy and healthy these days but I'm worried about her screentime. Pls guide us. Thanks in advance mam!

Very important point Nidhi ma'm. Ensuring that the child has a blackout time for screens before sleep, while eating, at playtime etc. I have been using a Qubit phone for my child which has built-in controls. It locks the phone at bedtime and I can put limits for games, social media etc. How parents can also stay updated with technology so that they can find better solutions as well.
