How long is it safe to delay vaccines for child less than 6 months old (booster doses or other vaccines) if child is not exposed to outside environment? Is there any alternate oral medication which can be administered in lieu of vaccines to build immunity? Can the oral vaccines (like rota teq, polio) be given separately at home, as this doesn’t require visit to a doctor?

1. How long can we delay the 6 week vaccine of a healthy child not exposed to external environment? 2. Do doctors follow any accepted best practices while giving vaccine during covid 19 in terms of sanitization of clinic and other items? 3. Can we ask our doctor to make sure the vaccine is given in very less time so that the exposure of the child is minimal? 4. We all are advised to wear masks however we have no way of covering nose and mouth of infants. Isn’t subjecting them to environment without mask risky ?

Hi Doctor! My Child's 6th month Influenza vaccine was due on 26th March. Now It's late by more than a month due to lockdown. How long can we postpone a vaccine? Will there be any side effects due to postponement? I heard that Flu vaccine reduces the immunity of baby initially. If it's true, Is it safe to take this vaccine at this typical corona time? Thank you.
