Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh Have Picked This Name for Their Baby Boy

Indian Cricket Team Captain Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika Sajdeh revealed their newborn’s name and they had a very special way of doing it. The latter shared a picture of a family ornament that had their names on it. Rohit and Ritika tied a knot on December 13, 2015 and welcomed their first child, Samaira in December 2018. The couple announced the birth of their second baby on November 15, 2024. 

The ornament had 4 dolls, each named after the members of Sharma Family. ‘Ro’ for Rohit Sharma, Rits for Ritika Sajdeh, Sammy for their daughter Samaira and finally their newborn son’s name, Ahaan. 

Meaning of Ahaan

The name Ahaan has a Sanskrit origin and it comes from the word ‘Ahan’, which means ‘day’. The name signifies a new day or a new beginning.
