Hi Monica... it is advisable to stop using talcum powder in and around private areas... it's always better to let air dry before dressing your baby. However diaper rash creams can be applied around the area.

I am using powder around my baby's private part and even on diapers, to keep her dry, should I stop doing that ?

hello Shraddha! all essential oils should be mixed with carrier oils or cream. For example, a pure and authentic lavender oil (1-2 drops) can be mixed in 2 tbsp of carrier oils like olive, coconut, jojoba, grapeseed. this helps in evenly spreading the oil on the babies body. However, the recommended age for applying essential oils is 3+ months.
