A very shocking and sad incident took place in Noida. Two small children, a 4-year-old girl and a 2.5-year-old boy, were thrown into a 10-foot-deep drain by their stepfather late at night near the Paras Tierra Society in Sector 137.
The drain was full of dirty water and sludge, and the children had no way to come out on their own. They were crying and scared, struggling to stay above the water.
The Stepfather’s Horrible Act
According to the police, the stepfather, a 22-year-old man named Ashish, was alone with the children. Their mother was not home at the time.
Police say he did not want to take care of the children because they were not his own children. So he took them outside and pushed them into the drain, then ran away.
Report says that the mother was asked to send the children to their biological father’s home. When she refused, he carried out this horrifying act

Delivery Boys Who Became Real Heroes
Around 9 PM, two Zepto delivery agents named Somveer Singh and his colleague Deenvandu were returning after their final delivery when they heard faint cries coming from a drain near Chauhan Market T-point. They rushed to investigate and discovered the two children struggling in foul water about three metres down.
Instead of ignoring it, they quickly rushed to check what was happening. When they saw the children stuck inside the dirty drain, they immediately climbed down and pulled them out.
Their brave and fast action saved the children’s lives.
After the rescue, local residents gathered, and the children were taken to a nearby hospital. Doctors said they were shaken but safe. The stepfather was later arrested by the police.
The children are now under the care of authorities to make sure they remain safe. If those delivery workers had not listened carefully or acted quickly, the children might not have survived.
