Recently, Deepika Padukone shared her feelings about motherhood which shows how it can be challenging and exhausting for celebrities as well. It says even the most successful people face the ups and downs of raising a child.
Becoming a Mother Changed Everything
Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh became parents to a baby girl, Dua Padukone Singh, in September 2024. From that moment, Deepika’s life changed completely. She explained how her world, which was once focused on her career, now just revolves around her child.
In a recent discussion at the WAVES 2025 summit, Deepika said:
“The minute you’ve had a child, you are responsible for another human being. Before, my life was all about me - my career, my ambitions, my routines. Now, everything revolves around my child.”
She happily acknowledges that she is still struggling to find that right balance between work and family.
