Jewellery Store Owner Learns Staff Is Pregnant: Wins Hearts With Kind Gesture

We live in a world where professional relationships are often limited to WhatsApp groups, emails, and meetings; however, what this jewellery store owner did to surprise his pregnant employee shows exactly what workplace compassion looks like and why we need more such efforts in our society.

The owner came to know that one of the staff members was expecting a baby. Instead of just formally congratulating her or simply ignoring her, he did something that touched millions of hearts and not just hers.

He organized a surprise baby shower at the store and made all the arrangements. The moment seemed no less than a heartwarming movie scene with all the staff members performing the rituals in the traditional manner, just the way a family would.

The idea was simple - to make her feel valued as an employee and to let her know that she had people to support her on the beautiful journey she was about to step into.
