Speech and language milestones in 2 year 6 month old

Amongst all the developmental milestones in children, speech and language is one of the most important developmental skills, a child picks up and masters as he grows. As the child starts with sounds, moving to babbling and then formation of words and two word phrases, he picks up both receptive and expressive language.  With age, a child's vocabulary also widens.
