Deepika Bakes for Daughter Dua’s 1st Birthday, Ranveer Singh Calls Her the ‘Best Mumma’
Social & Emotional

The first birthday of our little one is special – for you, me and every parent out there. As the baby turns one, it’s even the parents completing one whole year of sleepless nights, messy days and endless love.

And it’s the same for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Their daughter Dua turned one. There was no star-studded party, but just a small birthday cake baked by our beautiful mom, Deepika.

As always, Ranveer couldn’t stop expressing his admiration. He proudly called her the “best mumma,” and you could feel how genuine that moment was.

From “DeepVeer” Wedding to Parenthood

It feels like yesterday when Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in Lake Como, Italy. Their 2018 fairytale wedding was straight out of a dream. They have been the perfect couple example since then.

Years later, they welcomed baby Dua in 2023. It means prayer or blessing. To Deepika and Ranveer, she truly is their answered prayer.

As Dua turned one, the celebration was more about family and love.

Ranveer’s Appreciation

Ranveer has always been expressive about his love for Deepika, but calling her the “best mumma” shows just how much he values the way she has embraced motherhood. His words remind us of how important it is for partners to appreciate each other in parenting.

Raising a child is hard work, and a little recognition goes a long way.

Fans React with Love

When the news came out, fans flooded social media with love. Many admired Deepika for being so grounded, and others praised Ranveer for always cheering her on.

One fan wrote, “Deepika baking for Dua shows that all moms are the same - superstars at home first.”

Another said, “This is why people love DeepVeer. They’re real, they’re warm, and they celebrate life in the simplest ways.”

Dua won’t remember the size of the cake or how it looked, but one day, she will hear stories of how her mom baked it herself and how her dad beamed with pride. That’s the kind of memory that lasts a lifetime.
