Surprising Finds! Indian Mom In China Reveals What’s Inside Her Son’s School Bag

A video shared by an Indian Mom currently residing in China has taken over the internet and for all the right reasons. In the video, titled “What’s There In Your Kid’s School Bag,”  the mom reveals the contents of her son’s school bag and surprisingly, it is very different from what we usually expect in India.

The mom shares “My son Yuvaan studies in a Chinese school and this is his school bag. It has been designed very differently, especially for children. I’ve seen people from Japan using such backpacks for their children where it is provided by the school and my son received it from his school too.” She further shares that the bag is light weight and waterproof. 

The mom then opens the bag. What’s inside? Just two t-shirts, a pair of shorts, one underwear, and a pair of trousers. That’s it. No books. No notebooks. No lunch box or water bottle. Not even a school diary.

The mom goes on to explain that her child doesn’t need to carry all these items as they are provided by the school, from meals and drinking water to study material and classroom supplies.

The school starts at 8:00 am and wraps up by 4:00 pm, suggesting that they have a full-day programme that includes studies as well as extracurricular activities. She also revealed that the school has a dedicated nap time, which is one of the reasons why students stay there for a longer time. 

Many praised the school system for being child-centric highlighting how it relieved the students from the burden of heavy school bags. However, some people also questioned what’s so special about the bag and why there are no books in it.  

The mom shared another video on the very next day explaining why she thinks the bag is special. "Students don’t need to carry books because they have to do their assignments on worksheets provided by the school. They don’t use copies. The children recently had a complete health checkup at school. The extra set of clothes is kept for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.” she revealed

She also clarified that although her son doesn’t carry books in his bag, this doesn’t mean that they don’t have books in China. In fact, they have 2 sets of books, one for home and another one for school.
