Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra recently shared a funny glimpse into his life as a new dad. He joked that he’s already losing conversations with his baby daughter, Saraayah, and that he is no longer the hero of the house.
Sidharth recently talked about how life at home has changed. He said he is no longer the hero of the house. Instead, he finds himself trying to keep up with a tiny human who clearly calls the shots.
“It’s funny because I thought I’d walk in and be the hero of the house,” Sidharth said, laughing. “But she’s got her own plans… and I’m just trying to keep up.”
His words show a reality many parents understand. Babies may be small, but they are already in charge. From deciding when to eat to picking when to sleep, Saraayah seems to lead the Malhotra household in her own adorable way.
From Pregnancy Reveal to Parenthood
Long before Saraayah’s arrival, Sidharth and Kiara dropped a subtle but adorable hint of what was coming. A pregnancy announcement via a simple post featuring tiny baby socks was posted on their Instagram handle.
When Saraayah finally arrived, the couple shared their gratitude, writing, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl.”

In July 2025, Sidharth and his wife Kiara Advani welcomed their beautiful baby girl.
The couple later introduced her name to the world: Saraayah Malhotra. The name, they revealed, is of Hebrew origin and means God’s princess.
They revealed the name on their Instagram post. The image showed tiny sock‑clad baby feet cradled in their palms, accompanied by the caption:
“From our prayers, to our arms… our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra”
