Dear Amita, please apply ice pack to the affected area. Redness, pain, fever and very mild swelling are the side effects of 2 months vaccination namely IPV,DTwP and Hib.... BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER ANY SIGNIFICANT SWELLING OF THE AFFECTED AREA OF MY SON WHEN HE GOT VACCINATION AT 2 MONTHS. lt is advised to contact the doctor if any of the over mentioned side effects persists more than 3 days. PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANY CHANCE. VISIT THE PEDIATRICIAN OF YOUR BABY.

If it is on his thigh... Where they did dtp.... It is common... Apply ice pack twice a day.. If pain is gone in 24 hours aftr vaccintion and just swell is there then no worries.. But if u feel still pain aftr few days.. Consult dr.
