It’s a Boy! Varun Tej & Lavanya Tripathi Welcome Their First Child - Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi Share Heartfelt Wishes

The Telugu film industry is celebrating a very special arrival this week. Actors Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi welcomed their first baby boy on September 10 in Hyderabad.
Varun shared the big news in the most tender way. He posted a black-and-white picture from the hospital of Lavanya holding their baby and he leaned over to kiss her forehead. His caption was short and heartfelt….
“Our little man. 10.09.2025.”
Sometimes the simplest words carry the most emotion.
Chiranjeevi’s Proud Blessings
The first family member to meet the little one was none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi. He even took a short break from his film shoot to visit the hospital and welcome his grand-nephew.
Holding the baby in his arms, Chiranjeevi shared his happiness online. He wrote:
“Welcome to the world, little one! Congratulations to Varun and Lavanya on becoming proud parents. So happy for Nagababu and Padmaja, who are now proud grandparents. Wishing the baby boy a life filled with health, happiness, and blessings.”

Varun’s cousin, Ram Charan, also couldn’t hide his excitement.
He wrote:

The Love Story
Varun and Lavanya’s journey together has always had a touch of magic. They first met on the sets of Mister in 2017. Soon their friendship blossomed into love.
Their relationship was only known to a few close ones. It was only in 2023 that they made it official with an engagement in Hyderabad. Later that year in November, they tied know in a fairy-tale wedding in Italy.
From Baby Booties to Baby Boy
In May 2025, the couple had already given fans a hint of the happiness to come. Varun shared another black-and-white picture which had the two of them holding tiny baby booties.
The caption read: “Life’s most beautiful role yet - Coming soon.”
Celebrities like Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh congratulated them. And just a few months later, their little bundle of joy arrived.
Both Mom and Baby Are Healthy
According to reports, both Lavanya and the baby are doing well. The delivery was smooth and the arrival of the little one has created an environment full of love and warmth.
What’s Next for Varun and Lavanya?
Varun already has some film projects lined up. This includes an Indo-Korean horror-comedy that fans are eagerly waiting for. Lavanya is likely to take some time off to enjoy this new phase of motherhood.
