“I have some good news. Me going to be a mother!!!” Sounds like music to the ears. That special moment when we discover that we are going to step into a new world – The world of motherhood. A world that is full of endless possibilities, love and affection. Once the feeling sinks in, one starts understanding and adjusting to the changes that one’s physical and mental self demands. That is the time to stock on some maternity essentials to make life easier and comfortable while you step into your last trimester. Following are 5 such items that every to-be mom needs to have in her wardrobe:
Wide and loose fitting one piece
You can buy these in different prints and vibrant colors. Make sure you pick cotton fabric only. You get very good collection online and also in branded outlets that deal in mommy essentials only. This helps you keep the lower body free and hence we do not experience irritability due to attire. You can also buy skirts, loose pajamas, shirts, kurtis, t-shirts but while selecting these be careful that they are comfort-fit for you especially in the abdomen area.
You may start having pain and swelling in your feet as you progress inyour pregnancy. Comfortable footwear inside home and outside is a must.Be it slippers, slip on, shoes, sandals, if rightly chosen they protect your feet from fatigue and cracks. Any footwear that is totally flat is not the best optionas it makes your heels prone to pain. Hold on, Heals are not an option at all. In fact, forget high heels for a year.
The right undergarments
As you body dimensions change, you need to change your set of undergarments. The money that you spend on the same is worth it because it keeps you relaxed and facilitates growth, which is inevitable when you are pregnant. Wearing an older tighter set will lead to uneasiness and more sweat.
Stoll’s and scarves
Good stoll’s and scarves keep you warm. They also help you cover your upper body and tummy partially allowing you to feel less cautious.
Moisturizing lotions, hair oil, fragrant body washes, lip balms, talcum powder – these are not for beauty alone. When you are pregnant they protect your skin and make you feel fresh and soft. These cosmetic products in way soothe your skin, helping you to radiate positive energy.
I would be happy if you could add some more to this list, something, which you thought was a good advice you got in your last tri-sem. You can add SPF lotions, glares to protect your eyes, good toothpaste for your oral hygiene because when you are pregnant your teeth and gums may become weak, a sanitizer to reduce chances of infection, light weight non pointed accessories and the list goes on. Be cheerful, continue to be a happy mommy to-be and all set to welcome your baby to your world.
