Anubhav shares his Top 3 Learnings as a dad

As father's we struggle in our minds to carve out a process of how to nurture our child and ensure that all virtues we either have or aspire for, is passed on to our children in the most effective way. Here are few points you must ponder before you start...
1. Learning is always best utilised when solicited and not otherwise.

We often know this for a fact, but we just want to somehow hurry up with the process of imparting the learning, even if the child is not seeking. The best way to understand this is to seek a similar scenario while you were a child. What was more impactful? Was it learning something new when you really urged naturally or when you were imposed? You now know the answer.
2. You have time don't rush!
Are you bitten by the neighbourhood syndrome? Which is, if my neighbour's child is getting better or has learned a new skill it is essential for my child to do it better than him. You have to understand that talent often gets subdued if imposed. You have to instigate and introduce your child to the talent he has... rest is his/her journey. Remember as a father it is important for you to understand that you are a facilitator and not a maker!
3. You yourself is the biggest learning tool for your child!
As a conscious being, we have to sooner or later understand that we should have to control our behaviour or compulsiveness towards situations and people. Our behaviour and acts are foremost perceived by our children. They imitate us in every sense and form. Even when they grow up, they would seek past experiences to take decisions. Hence be responsible and conscious all the time, as the journey starts with you!
