Autism is a social communication disorder and hinders social interaction for most kids on the spectrum. A thorough diagnosis and assessment can help in pinpoining the issue in children and support timely intervention. Simulataneously parents can engage children in certain activities that can develop and encourage social skills. In this video, Dr. Himani Khanna, a developmental pediatrician from Continua Kids, Gurgaon talks about building these skills through activites and play in addition to preofessional help.
