Mother Kills Baby, Throws Him In Well & Remarries. A Month Later, Father Discovers Horrifying Truth

On March 8, 2026, A 22-year-old woman ran away from her husband’s home with their 11-month-old baby and vanished. A month later, the husband came across a picture of her with another man. He called to enquire about his son, only to find out a heartbreaking truth that shattered his world. 

The horrifying incident has been reported from Pune, where a woman allegedly killed her 11-month-old baby boy so she could start a new life without any obstacles. She tried to cover the truth by dumping the baby’s body in a well but couldn’t hide it for long.

Initial investigation revealed that the family of three had gone for a trip to Konkan where she got irritated due to the baby’s constant crying.  Once they were back, she asked her husband to look after the child, but he went to attend a wedding instead. This further added to her frustration and she reportedly killed her child.

Scared that she might get caught, she ran away with some money. She purchased a new cell phone, and, with the help of an agent, got married again. She hid the truth about having a son from her second husband. 

Almost a month after the incident, her husband saw her pictures with her new husband. He contacted her, asking her to return his son but she kept avoiding the calls. The helpless father even called her new husband on April 3 and told him that she could stay with him only if she returned his son back. 

The husband could sense something fishy, so he went to the police and filed a missing person’s complaint. 

Police traced the woman and took her into custody where she initially claimed that the child had died after accidentally falling from a platform in their home and that she dumped the baby’s body in a well because she was scared. Later, she confessed to killing the child herself.

The 11-month-old's body was retrieved from the well. She had kept it inside a bag and placed some stones in it so that the bag wouldn’t resurface.
