This Famous Child Actress Made Her Parents Proud By Scoring 91% In 12th Boards… This Is How

Actor Ruhaanika Dhawan, widely known for playing the role of Ruhi Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has made her parents proud with her phenomenal performance in class 12 board exams. The 17-year-old started her acting career when she was just 4 and bought her own house when she was just 15. 

Ruhaanika has made her parents proud, yet again, by scoring 91% in her IB board exams. In an interview with Hindustan Times, she shared, “I am very happy to have scored 91% on my boards. I have worked really hard. I halted my acting career for three years to focus on my studies, and now I feel it was all worth it.” 

She went on to explain that while many of her peers in the industry were actively working, she made a conscious decision to take a break and prioritize academics.

When asked about her future plans, she shared that she wishes to get a degree in economics with a minor in international relations or entrepreneurship. “I am currently preparing for entrance exams at prestigious colleges across Maharashtra and other parts of India. The more flexible schedule in college will give me the time I need to focus on acting again,” she says.

Talking about her parents, Rhanika shared that they have given her the freedom to make decisions for herself and they have always supported her in her journey. They had complete faith in her and she feels happy to have proved them right.

Initially, she was planning to go abroad to complete her studies but she ultimately chose to stay in India. “My parents believe I’m still too young to be on my own in another country, and I agree. And partly I want to stay closer to my first love — acting,” she revealed.

While balancing stardom and studies, at the same time, can be challenging, Ruhaanika set her priorities straight and worked towards her goals. She is currently working on some projects and we might soon see her back on screen.
