Soft scrambled eggs are a phenomenal first food option for babies since they are a rich source of proteins, as well as vital vitamins and minerals. The healthy fats found in eggs help in the development of your baby’s brains and eye health.  The soft texture makes them easier to swallow, even with no teeth. For smaller babies you can change the consistency of the scrambled egg by mashing it using a fork. Also, make sure you are handling the eggs with care. Always use fresh eggs and wash your hands every time you touch them.

  • 1 tbsp. (15 ml) water

Step 1: Whisk egg and water in a small, microwave-safe bowl.

Step 2: Heat the microwave on high for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Let cool and cut into small pieces or mash with a fork.
