Are you planning to start solids and don’t know when to start and how to start? Ideally, your baby should start solid at about 6 months. Breastfeeding is best and ideal for babies for the first 6 months as it provides the ideal balanced nutrition and protection.

Some of the things that you can keep in mind to check readiness include checking:

  • The baby should be able to sit.

  • Babies may be ready if they watch you eating and look eager to be fed.

  • If you offer a spoon of cereal, he pushes it out of his mouth

  • Usually, when infants double their birth weight, they may be ready for solid foods.

By the time your child is 7 or 8 months, he can eat a variety of foods including fruits, vegetables, grains and cereals.

You can start with a single-grain baby Cereal. Traditionally, rice cereal has been the first food for babies but you can start with anything you prefer. You can mix 1 or 2 tablespoons of cereal and mix it with breast milk, formula, or water.

You should feed your baby with a small baby spoon. Some of the things that you should keep in mind include:

  • Do not start too early

  • Don’t force it

  • Create a routine

  • Be patient as starting solids take time

  • Be ready for messes

  • Watch out for allergies

  • Make it fun

According to scientists, almost validcbdoil any woman is capable of producing breast milk, and can begin to produce it even regardless of the fact of pregnancy and childbirth. All that is needed for this is high motivation, receiving the necessary information and stimulating the mammary glands. The best way to stimulate milk production is by sucking on the breast. The more often and longer the baby breastfeeds, the more milk is produced. It is important that the baby is properly attached to the breast, i. e. captured not only the protruding part of the nipple, but also the areola around it. Babies who have never breastfed or received food through a nipple bottle need additional monitoring for correct attachment.
