Reena’s Impact On Junaid’s Life

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Junaid attributed the foundation of his character to his mother, Reena’s influence during his early years. He shared, “My mother has a huge impact on my life. She is the one who brought me up. Papa is a very loving father, but he would be busy a lot in life. So, the one person who has shaped me the most as a person is my mother.” 

Reena Kept Kids Away From Spotlight

In another interview, while discussing his formative years with The Quint, Junaid mentioned how Reena made sure that he and his sister maintained a low profile and were raised to be mature. He shared, “Ira and I are also a little older, and the presence of social media wasn’t as aggressive as it is today. Growing up, access to information was a lot and our mom ensured that we had our heads on our shoulders.”

What Junaid Learned From Aamir

When it comes to work and life, Junaid has been greatly inspired by his father, Aamir. He spoke about his father’s setbacks and resilience. He said, "There is a lot to learn from just how he conducts himself. Failures affect him, but he takes the time to process it and then move on to learning from it. He will figure out what went wrong and proceed from there, so that’s his process which is probably the best way to go about it." 

Aamir As A Supportive Father

He praised Aamir for always being there, despite being busy with work. “Papa is a very loving father, but he would be busy a lot in life. But if there is a difficulty that I am going through, I can call anyone, maa, papa, Ira. They are always one phone call away”. He further added, "Even Papa, who is incredibly busy, if you need to get a hold of him, it will not take you more than a couple of minutes, and if you need it, he will have all the time in the world you want. I have a supportive, open family. So whenever you want to talk, it is always open for discussion"
