Hello parents,I am currently studying different options for schooling the kid. although mine is just 1n half years rt now but I want to explore the best possible education option for him.. till now my research has failed to interest me for regular schooling as they are mere cramming institutes in the date.. with no practical life lessons taught intentionally.. also they don't work on utilizing child innate potential up to best.. rather they make learning n education so robotic n boring. So I am thinking of homeschooling my baby.. would be glad to know if any other parent here are at same stage or interested.

Yes u r right padmini.. thats my another concern actually.. homeschooling might cost my baby from regular social interactions which are really necessary.. if i decide to go thru exclusive homeschooling,i will have to work my energieea on this aspect as well... regarding playschools,i am ok with alternate education approch based playgroups.. I am considering that also. but being from a small city,I have very limited options. till now came across just one play school,Kidzee branch, they follow Montessori method... a child centred approach to learning.. But for formal education,I am still in dilemma.

While I completely understand your concerns about education in traditional schools but I think that home schooling little kids might be a little challenging. Being a mother of a 5 year old I can see that a lot of her learning happens from being with other kids. Pre schoolers learn a lot by seeing and interacting with their peers. I am not sure where you are based but currently their are a lot of schools who follow a doing based learning approach. So searching for the right school is a key decision.
