Hi Sornalakshmi. My 5 year old also had the same problem. His doctor had recommended Aloe E - it's a mosturising lotion for dry and sensitive skin. The best also can be massaging your baby with coconut oil, which is safe.

Hi Sornalakshmi, I suggest you get them checked. It could also be eczema or skin allergy or fungal infection.

Hi Sornalakshmi, it could be just winter dryness but if it is serious, it will not go away with just lotions and moisturizers. Ask the doctor for some child friendly product.

Hi Sornalakshmi, for such a small baby, go to the doctor to take a proper diagnosis and then a treatment.

Hlelo Sornalakshmi, it could just be winter dryness. if the baby is in a heater room, ensure humidity is maintained. keep a bowl of water near the heater. Also, make sure the first layer of clothing that touches the babys skin is pure cotton. hope this helps.

for white patches please consult dermatologist. if it is only dryness because of winter apply cetaphil DAM body lotion for body & Atogla moisturizer for face. do not apply soap while bathing him. Instead use cetaphil cleansing lotion. Baby's skin is extremely sensitive. soap will destroy its original texture. this lotion doesn't contain soap so it wont gather foam on applying. hence do not rub. simply apply the lotion n clean with water.
