throat problem

hello friends,my 5 months old son got cough and cold. I used some medicines prescribed by doc. cold is cured and little cough is there but his voice become hoarse. is it normal

Yes its normal, try and give him warm drinks or soup that will ease the throat. If he can gargles with hot water (temp which is appropriate to the child).. nothing like it.
