hello... what is IPV in vaccine... we have given 2 doses of that but when we went for the 3rd time it's out of stock in both private and government... is that nessesary 3rd IPV

Hi Amruta, Inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) , you can give OPV it is oral polio vaccine.

IPV given only as first polio vaccine through injection .. After that usually all pediatric prescribe oral polio.. Every year 2 doses.. You dont need to go for IPV every time. You can give ur baby oral drops as well.. Both are same..
