“I Deserve to Know…”: Heartbroken Mother Seeks Answers in Daughter’s Demise

There is no pain deeper than losing a child. The grief is unbearable. And what makes it harder is when the questions remain unanswered, when the truth is behind the walls of speculation. And when a mom doesn’t know what exactly happened with her little girl.

This is the reality of one mother in Noida who is living through after the tragic and mysterious death of her young daughter.

Her words are raw and haunting: “I deserve to know what happened to my child.”

She is pleading for something she should not. It is the most basic human right for a mother to understand how and why her daughter’s life was cut short.

What Happened?

This incident occurred on the morning of September 4, 2025. A 10-year-old Tanishka Sharma, who was a student of Class 6 of Presidium School in Noida, suddenly collapsed during Teacher’s Day celebrations. She was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. While the school first said she had choked on food, later versions said she fainted near a staircase.

These conflicting statements have left her parents confused about what really happened.  A post-mortem revealed no external injuries. However, it has been pointed to a brain haemorrhage as a possible cause.  The incomplete CCTV footage from the spot is adding to the speculations.
