This incident occurred on the morning of September 4, 2025. A 10-year-old Tanishka Sharma, who was a student of Class 6 of Presidium School in Noida, suddenly collapsed during Teacher’s Day celebrations. She was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. While the school first said she had choked on food, later versions said she fainted near a staircase.
These conflicting statements have left her parents confused about what really happened. A post-mortem revealed no external injuries. However, it has been pointed to a brain haemorrhage as a possible cause. The incomplete CCTV footage from the spot is adding to the speculations.
