Karnataka RTE School Admission Procedure (Bangalore) 2020-21
RTE nursery admissions in Karnataka(official website) entitles free education to children. Here is Karnataka school admission procedure and guidelines:
The parents seeking Rte admissions in the nursery shall visit the government website, www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in, creating login I'd and password to fill the online forms.
The details filled online shall be accurate and no false claims shall be done.
The government will then scrutinize all the application forms and then accept and reject, according to the filled details and their validity. The name of eligible applicants will appear on the website only.
If the applications in a neighborhood school are more than the seats available, the lottery system will be adopted to shortlist.
The confirmed applicant list will then be updated for the parent's reference.
Parents then can continue with admission formalities in the allotted school.
For EWS Category:
Generally, the certificate of financial insufficiency, i.e economically weaker section earning less than 100000(1 lakh) per annum, has to be shown at the time of admissions. Ration card, birth certificate, certificate of disability, certificate of caste and residential proof are required, in admission on reserved seats. Nursery: A child with age falling from 2 years and 9 months to 3.5 years is eligible for the nursery.
Lower Kg: The age from 3.5 years to 4.5 years is eligible for lower kindergarten.
Senior Kg: The age eligibility for this class is 4.5 years to 5.5 years.
Class 1: The child above 5.5 years of till 7 years can apply for admission.
