4-Month-Old Kidnapped At Railway Station Rescued What Police Found Next Is Shocking

A 4-month-old baby was allegedly kidnapped from his parents at Nirakarpur railway station in Khurda district. While the baby has now been rescued, the police operation also led to a shocking discovery. Read to know more.

The baby’s parents fell asleep while waiting for the train to Bhubaneswar, where they work at a spinning mill. The baby was reportedly taken from the mother’s lap around 12:30, and although the parents tried to raise an alarm, the kidnappers were successful in abducting the baby boy.

The father, Prashant Pradhan, filed a complaint at the Nirakarpur police station, right after which an investigation was launched.

What made the case more challenging was the fact that there were no CCTV cameras in the area from where the child was taken.

Fortunately, police were able to rescue the baby. However, their investigation revealed something shocking — the whole kidnapping was planned by none other than the baby’s father, Prashant Pradhan.

Prashant has been detained, but the motive is still not known.
