In 2016, Rishita was the smallest recorded baby born in our country. She weighed only 650 grams. But, kudos to Dr. Yadaiah teams for nurturing this tiny blessing! Today, Rishita is a healthy toddler irrespective of being a premature baby. In spite of medical facilities reaching newer advancements in India, we still have many misconceptions about premature births. But, the truth is, there is nothing to worry if you gave birth to a premature baby. Though premature babies require extra special care in their first few months of life, they tend to catch up with their full-term counterparts by their first birthday and go on to live happy, healthy lives.
